Marketing Manager - $65-75K
This role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy that will increase our brand exposure and strengthen our market position in a niche retail concept.
The Marketing Manager also leads a team consisting of a PR & Marketing Assistant, Junior Designer and Content Specialist while working in close relations with the eCommerce Manager and fashion photographer.
Responsibilities
PLANNING/STRATEGY
· Develop and maintain a marketing plan and brand strategy to shape and communicate our vision and mission throughout the brand lifecycle, including brand definition (e.g. messaging, positioning, visual representation)
· Manage a marketing calendar with due dates and team deliverables
· Manage and grow the company’s social media platforms and strategy
· Manage budgets and allocate resources amongst projects
· Research, analyze and summarize marketing trends, brand positioning and customer insights
· Conduct analysis reports to identify key trends, monitor performance, and find areas for optimization for ongoing and future campaigns
· Track and optimize campaign performance and identify opportunities through key channel KPIs to maximize marketing effectiveness
TEAMWORK
· Collaborate with company personnel, such as operations, design, public relations, merchandising, and finance, to assist in decision making, and to promote continuous improvement of company performance
· Work collaboratively with eCommerce, merchandising, sales, creative and operations teams to develop and execute new launches and promote marketing campaigns
CREATIVE
· Be the creative visionary that provides direction on design, copy writing and photography
· Create and develop print and digital media marketing that helps shape and communicate our vision and mission across all company platforms
· Create and implement local store marketing programs that increase store traffic & guest loyalty
· Manage all public relation efforts including store events, media releases, and publicity events
· Effectively communicate media, industry, and competitive insights in presentations
Requirements
• 5 - 7 yrs experience in marketing, ideally retail marketing, brand or content marketing
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Design, Communications or related field
· Proven track record of increasing revenue through marketing efforts
· Experience in a managerial role
· Strong leadership qualities
· Ability to design and develop brand content strategies and execute brand campaigns
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities/deadlines
· Strong attention to detail and budget management skills
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
SALARY
$65,000 - $75,000 DOE
